Please note that the natural jute fibers are easily damaged by water, so it is important to avoid, if possible, contact between the espadrilles and water. It is not recommended to use them on rainy days, and they should be stored in a dry place without moisture to remain in perfect condition.
Under no circumstances should the espadrilles be washed in a washing machine, immersed in water or rinsed under running water, as contact with water causes the jute fibers to swell, leading to damage and disintegration.
If the jute soles get wet or soggy, it is best to let them dry outdoors, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping the espadrilles horizontal.
To clean jute soles, it is best to use a soft bristle brush to remove dust.
If there are stains on the jute, they can be removed with an eraser.
Another option is to sprinkle talcum powder on the jute and let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the stain. Then use a brush to completely remove the stain.
In the event that the rubber on the sole separates from the jute, it is recommended to repair with silicone glue.
For superficial cleaning of suede shoes, we recommend using a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water, followed by gentle rubbing.
To remove specific stains on suede, you can use an eraser by gently rubbing the stain.
Since suede is a delicate material, the best way to prevent staining is to use a special waterproof product designed for this type of leather.
The inside of the shoe: If the espadrilles acquire moisture during cleaning, we recommend placing a microfiber cloth inside after cleaning to absorb the moisture and help maintain the shape of the shoe.
